Britney Spears & Kevin Federline Reuniting for the Kids?
Is it time to reunite Britney Spears and Kevin Federline? Earlier reports have claimed that dad Jamie Spears is pushing for that and now Life & Style Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears and K-Fed’s sons Jayden James and Sean Preston might soon be saying. “Welcome home mommy!” Will Britney and Kevin really get back together? Why not.
The magazine reports in a cover story out this week that Kevin Federline used to dread talking to ex-wife Britney Spears. In fact, when he’d look down at his phone and see her number, Kevin would often groan, says a friend of his. But that seems to have changed. When Britney called him one recent afternoon, Kevin’s tone was soft and cheery.
“Hey, lady,” Kevin said, according to his friend, who was there at the time. “What’s up?” The friend tells Life & Style that Kevin, 30, and Britney, 26, then chatted for several minutes, mostly about their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. It was an enormous emotional leap for a couple who just months ago were exchanging messages only via their lawyers — in court during their heated custody battle.
“It’s such a huge change,” says Kevin’s friend. “It hasn’It been like this between them in forever.” And it appears to be another sign that the formerly feuding couple are reconciling. As Life & Style has reported, Kevin and Britney shared a kiss in front of their sons several weeks ago. And with Britney on the road to managing her condition after reportedly being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in early February, she and Kevin seem to be growing closer.
“They plan on spending more time together,” says a Federline family insider. Since their kiss, Britney has been ending her phone calls with Kevin by saying “I love you.” The magazine has much more on the story and it is on newsstands now.
